The Career Advantage program was awarded the SW Resources “Making A Difference” award for 2015. The Making A Difference award is given to an individual or an organization for their dedication to the ideals and mission of SW Resources. Career Advantage has partnered with SW Resources to assist youth with disabilities in finding employment in the Mid-Ohio Valley region.
SW Resources’ mission is to provide vocational training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, enabling them to reach their full potential.
The awards ceremony took place on March 22, 2016 at the Grand Pointe Conference Center in Vienna, WV. SW Resources wrote, “Without this partnership, (with Career Advantage) many of the youth we have collaboratively served would not have gained the skills needed for successful employment. Thank you Career Advantage in being instrumental in changing the lives of our community’s youth!”
